The Dominica Citizenship by Investment Program, established in 1991 under its Economic Citizenship Program, is the most financially advantageous program of its kind for those seeking a second citizenship.

The Commonwealth of Dominica — not to be confused with the Dominican Republic — is a parliamentary democracy and member of La Francophonie. A A citizenship of Dominica enables visa-free travel to 128 countries.

Citizenship of Dominica can be obtained by investing in Dominica’s real estate or by donating to Dominica’s National Transformation Fund. All family members brought along will be eligible to gain Dominica citizenship.

The government of Dominica announced the beginning of the issuance of a new biometric passport from July 19, 2021. Citizens of Dominica can get a modern biometric passport when replacing an expired or restoring a lost document. Candidates for Dominica citizenship through investments waiting for passports can obtain current passports or wait for biometric passports. The initial deadline given by the Government of Dominica to replace the machine-readable passports to the new E-passport has now been revised from July 2023 to August 30th, 2022.

Patients must be taken oversees to larger university hospitals.

An emerging trend in Dominica is a greater focus on mental health, which until this point, has been understudied and undertreated. The outlook for future healthcare innovation is looking as bright as it ever has.


Dominica changes rules for dependents in Citizenship by Investment program

Since 15th of September 2022 the definition of “dependant” and substituting the
following “dependant” means —

(a) a spouse of the main applicant;

(b) a child under 18 years of age of the main applicant or the spouse of the main applicant;

(c) a child of the main applicant or the spouse of the main applicant between 18 and 30 years who is in attendance at a recognized institution of higher learning and substantially supported by the main applicant or the spouse of the main applicant;

(d) an unmarried daughter of the main applicant or the spouse of the main applicant who is under 25 years of age and is living with and fully supported by the main applicant or the spouse of the main applicant;

(e) a child of the main applicant or the spouse of the main applicant who is 18  years of age or older and physically or mentally challenged and who is substantially supported by the main applicant or the spouse of the main applicant;

(f) parents or grandparents of the main applicant or the spouse of the main applicant above the age of 65 years who are substantially supported by the main applicant or the spouse of the main applicant.
