The Dominica Citizenship by Investment Program, established in 1991 under its Economic Citizenship Program, is the most financially advantageous program of its kind for those seeking a second passport.
The Commonwealth of Dominica — not to be confused with the Dominican Republic — is a parliamentary democracy and member of La Francophonie. A Dominica passport enables visa-free travel to 128 countries, facilitating business immigration to the United Kingdom and many other key international business hubs.
In 2015, the European Union (EU) waived all visa requirements and established visa-free access to the Schengen area for those with Dominica passports.
A Dominica passport can be obtained by investing in Dominica’s real estate or by donating to Dominica’s National Transformation Fund. All family members brought along will be eligible to gain Dominica citizenship.
Dominica has recently had tough economic times due to tropical storms and unfavorable weather, but the people are always working together to rebuild, and Dominica is emerging stronger than it ever was.
Those looking for entrepreneurial endeavors might look to the major industries with a positive outlook in Dominica, which include agriculture, tourism, manufacturing recover and geothermal electricity generation.

Housing and Real Estate
As mentioned, Dominica experienced a lot of damage from tropical storms, and the real estate market took the biggest hit. However, real estate is still very attractive for foreigners and the market demand has remained steady.
Typical home prices range between $200,000 to $600,000 USD, with North Americans being the largest portion of investors in the country.
The worry of finding drinkable water in some smaller islands is a legitimate concern for many properties, but in Dominica, 95.8% of those with Dominica citizenship have access to safe drinking water.
Healthcare has come a long way in recent years, becoming quite modern and comparable to mainland healthcare systems, but with its current resources, Dominica cannot provide complicated procedures such as radiation, complex orthopedic surgery and burn surgery.
