The requirement to visit Antigua for at least 5 days within a 5-year period is back in effect from 1 July 2023
Not every Caribbean citizenship program will ask investors to really visit the island. But Antigua does. Five-day residence requirement reinstated. That would be very important for reissuing a passport after 5 years but then every family member will get a 10-year valid passport. Note that Antigua now upgraded all passports to biometric passports.
Here are the situations in which the visit requirement may not be met: if the applicant has reached the age of 80 years at the time of receipt of the passport or 5 years after; illness or disability; renewal of a passport received from June 30 to July 20, 2023.
