A month ago, in April 2021, Cabinet announced new investment option to qualify for Citizenship of St. Kitts. This modification is included in the St. Kitts Statutory Rules and Orders. So now you may choose any house on St. Kitts or Nevis with value not less than US $400,000 to apply for citizenship. There is no list of authorized real estate for this Private Home option. But you must keep in mind a few rules. First of all, you may not buy a part of the building like an apartment or unit in the hotel. Or be a fractional owner, or own a share. The value of the land shall not be included in determining the value of the home. A property purchased under the Private Home plan shall not be resold for a period of at least 5 years. Note that the property shall be owned by certificate of title.
Option «Citizenship of St. Kitts for the purchase of a private home» is officially a limited time offer. It will last only until 1st of November 2022.
