Due to the new requirements of the passport program from August 2023, applicants for Grenada Citizenship by Investment must undergo an interview. This is a remote procedure organized by the Grenada Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU). So, the procedure was technically launched on September 4, 2023.
Who does the new requirement apply to?
Thus, candidates for investment citizenship of Grenada whose applications are at the bank compliance stage are subject to interview requirements. Please note that applicants undergoing due diligence checks, with an Application Receipt letter dated before September 4, 2023, and their family members should NOT be interviewed. The interview requirement will also apply to all applicants who have been or will be accepted later into the Grenada Citizenship Program. The candidate’s country of origin does not matter. The rule applies to all investors and dependent family members.
In addition to Grenada, other Caribbean countries with passport programs have also recently introduced interviewing of all candidates. Including Saint Kitts and Nevis, Dominica, Saint Lucia.
Step-by-step interview process for candidates (applicants) for Grenada citizenship
1 – An Apex Capital Partners lawyer fills out an interview application form, the client confirms with his signature. APEX then sends the form to the Grenada Citizenship by Investment Unit.
2 – Applicants inform their APEX lawyer in which language they prefer to be interviewed.
3 – Applicants will receive an email with a link to the application form in English. However, interview instructions will be given in the language chosen by the applicants.
4 – APEX advises the applicant and family members and prepares them for the interview.
5 – The interview is conducted through an automated system, in the language chosen by the applicants.

– Dependent Children between ages 17 to under 30 – US$1,000.
