New Montenegrin prime minister Dritan Abazovic during his official visit to Brussels appeared to promise a definite end to Citizenship of Montenegro by investment program by the end of the year. We remind you that the Montenegrin program was urgently extended on the last working day of 2021. And the requirements were changed making program 100,000 euros pricier by adding one more obligation to invest in government fund.
Despite of the fact that Montenegrin CIP was extended, program was affected by bureaucratic crisis in the early 2022 caused by changing of the Cabinet. In fact, from the beginning of February to mid-May, no appointment was made to a key position for the successful operation of the program. Then Mladen Grgić has been appointed as Director of Montenegrin Investment Agency on the 25th Council meeting.
So, the year 2022 is clearly the last one for this CIP. Keep in mind that Montenegrin program is the best and ultimate investment citizenship offer for those ones who seek strict way to European passport. And, following these facts, use this opportunity wisely.
