St. Kitts and Nevis PASSPORT

St. Kitts and Nevis was the first country to introduce a Citizenship by Investment Program in 1984, facilitating second citizenship opportunities for individuals from around the world. Today, a St. Kitts and Nevis passport is considered one of the top 25 passports in the world, delivering freedom of travel.

A St. Kitts and Nevis passport gives the opportunity for a visa-free travel to more than 130 countries, including the UK and the Schengen area. Those pursuing the Citizenship by Investment Program in St. Kitts and Nevis are also eligible to apply for a 10-year visa for the US, facilitating business-immigration.

The government of St. Kitts and Nevis has also introduced legislation designed to attract financial services businesses through its Citizenship by Investment Program, expanding real estate investment opportunities that enable more global businesspersons to obtain a second passport.

A few real estate options for the St. Kitts and Nevis second citizenship are: Ocean Grove Villas, Windswept Residence Club, Embassy Suites by Hilton, Four Seasons Nevis, Pinney’s Beach Villas, Park Hyatt St. Kitts and Christophe Harbour.

Business Opportunity

St. Kitts and Nevis passport holders are presented with some unique business opportunities, especially for digital nomads. Internet banks are very popular here, with the country holding the title for online banks from 2011-2013.

Entrepreneurs looking to gain St. Kitts and Nevis citizenship may look to the emerging industries of machinery, food, electronics, beverages and tobacco.

Education

Education in St. Kitts and Nevis is free and compulsory from ages 5 to 12. Despite 12 being a young age for children to be allowed to quit school, the country still has a 91% high school enrollment rate.

Higher education is led by one main tertiary school — The Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College. Those with St. Kitts and Nevis citizenship can pursue careers in arts & sciences, health and wellness, teacher education and management studies.

Housing and Real Estate

The real estate industry is booming in St. Kitts and Nevis, motivating them to build a private jet airport for the wealthy who are buying second homes on the beautiful island. This boost of income has even allowed the government to greatly enhance housing conditions for the general population.

For investors, condos and homes run at an average cost of about $575,000, but rental yield is quite low at 5.11%.

Health Care System

St. Kitts is a relatively small country, but it has four developed hospitals and 17 health clinics across its two islands. Medication costs are kept low by bulk buying with neighboring countries, making it a fine choice for those with monthly prescriptions.

It should be noted that advanced procedures requiring complex invasive surgery will need to be completed in bigger hospitals of neighboring countries.
