Halsey Park’s design places a half-acre central garden with paths leading to every residence, a unique residential real estate concept for the United States.
The partnership, led by APEX, oversaw securing all permissions for the project, including engineering and building permits; and hired architects, designers, and landscaping professionals to undertake the development. Within a year and a half, the group exited by selling their investment. The project had provided APEX’s clients with a vehicle to take on real estate risk in the United States, the investment was tax-efficient for the foreign investors, and resulted in a 30% return.

Apex Capital Corp. partnered with a local developer, and a group of Russian investors brought on board by APEX, to purchase 3.5 acres of land in the historic core of downtown Charleston. From the original 4 lots with 4 older homes, the land was rezoned and merged as a single parcel, which was then subdivided into 21 new building lots.
