The first race in Antigua took place back in the early 60s – initially as a get-together of local skippers to mark the end of the season. Over the years, more and more modern sports boats were added to the list, and in 1988 the regatta had to be divided into two separate events: Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta and Antigua Sailing Week.

The event, which has become a must-visit for yachtsmen and connoisseurs of luxury recreation, combines the adrenaline of sea racing and exquisite parties. In 2025, one of the most spectacular events, Antigua Sailing Week, will be held from April 25 to May 2.
